What is Complex-Carbs and which sports would use it?

Is phd waxy vol better then this product for quality carbs? also it says the ingrediant is maltodextrin isnt this bad for you? would i still be able to take this before and after training even though it contains maltodextrin? thanks in advance
Dear Jonny,
This product is equally as good as waxy vol, but waxy vol is a different type of carbohydrate. Waxy vol contains waxy barley starch and is very slow burning. The garnell carbs are more of a fast acting carb which can be used before and after training.

Are these carbs high gi carbs to be best used post workout? im wantin to add this to my protein/creatine shake post workout and was wondering if it would be beneficial for me to do this? thanks in advance
Dear John,
I would advise you use this product for pre workout rather than post. Your body needs longer lasting energy pre workout, but post workout need simple carbs from sugars etc to replenish gylcogen levels.
