Hi Chris,
Yes the Polar F11M does come with a transmitter belt, but it isn't the T31, it is the next model up-the Wearlink transmitter. It is a softer belt strap.

Is this the most recent version of this model? or is it old stock? And if it is old (e.g. older than 2007) what revisions have been made to the F11 in the newer releases?

My son mainly uses the gym no fancy stuff, weights mostly and cycles outdoors. Which watch would be suitable. He also walks mountains etc but only a couple of times a year.He could do with the stopwatch and HRM for more than one session. I was thinking the F6 or the F11 but could do with advice if poss. Thank you for your enquiry. If it is a fairly basic watch you need that will do HRM and stop watch I would go for the F6 but then you could add the bike mount to sit on the handle bar as an added extra.

You would need to order the USB as the IR interface has now being discontinued.

How does the USB connection on F11 work? As I understand it the F11 is waterproof.
Hi alf you would need to connect it into your computer and it works as a two way infrared data communication between polar product and pc. It is50m water resistant.

Hi, I have heard that when the watch battery runs out you need to send it away to be replaced, is this the case with the F11, or can you get it changed at a local watch repair store?
