I wish to buy a Polar S625X, but can you tell me how I would download the programs to my PC if I do not have infared on my pc.
Thanks
Hi Daryl,
You would need to buy a Polar IR interface or IrDA USB 2.0 Adapter to get the data to your PC.
Do you stock the USB 2.0 Adapter and if so what is the cost ?
Regards
Rob
Hi Rob,
We do stock the Polar USB 2.0 Adaptor. currently it is priced £28.99, and can be found under the Heart Rate Accessories.
Hope this helps,
Ian

Hi,
What additonal parts will I need to use s625X as a cycling computer and what are the costs?
Hi Nenad,
The S625x is a multi sport so it already has the cycling options. Optional extras are the S series cadence sensor, S series speed sensor or the S series power sensor.

How often would you need to download the data so as not to loose any data?
Can the S625x be set to record at less than 1 second intervals?
Are there other versions that have the PC download capability? The don't necessarily need to be wireless/IR interface.
Thank you,
Sarah
Hi Sarah,
S625x can only transmit at 1 per second. It has 99 memory files to down load.
RS400 and RS800 are newer models. RS800 transmits more than once per second with the W.I.N.D. technology. It also comes with training softwear.
Also the RS200 models load information.

How does the accuracy of the foot pod compare to a GPS receiver, and how easy is it to set up the pod?
Hi Jon,
The foot Pod is very different from GPS. It is easy to set the pod up by selecting features in the setting. It sends a transmission every 1 second to monitor speed and distance. The RS800 SD is an even more superior monitor with WIND tec. As quick as blue tooth.
