Can the Polar IRDA USB 2.0 Adapter be used with the Polar S625x and if so does it require any other adapters or anything to enable it to work directly with the S625x watch.

Yes the Polar RS800 does work with IRDA USB 2.0 adapter. It should be fine with your laptop aslong as it has a USB port.

you would have to look at a HRM above an F4 for it to be compatable.

I have one of the old style IR USB ports(white/grey) but find i have bother getting info tranferred across to laptop.Is this becuase my laptop has USB2 ports and if so will the adaptor alleviate the problem,I.E. do i still use it with the old IR or on its own

If you were to buy the new version USB 2.0 then you will probably find you don't have this trouble anymore, as the adapter will be compatible with your laptop.

Will the Polar IRDA USB 2.0 Adapter work with Polar RS200 sd watch and lap top pc
Hi Nick,
The Polar USB 2.0 is not compatible with this model. The RS200sd has the Weblink feature. You would access the website by setting yourself a username and password, and register by inputting the serial number from the back of the watch. After your workout you would access your file and put the wrist unit near the microphone port of your laptop. It would make a noise that inputs all of the information from your workout onto the screen. This is used for further analysis and storage.

Some of the Polar software is not compatible with Vista, but I have been assured that this would work without any problems.
