Recommended Usage
Take 2 servings of synergy-ISO-7 daily. Use 1 serving 60-90 minutes prior to a workout ,with the second serving either immediately after the workout to assist repair and replenishment, or at anytime other time during the day. I am a 12stone 19 year old male, I train at the gym between 3-4 times a week and have been doing so for about 5 years.
I have just placed an order for this product, but would just like to check on a few of the ingrediants.
Firstly the methyl-methoxyisoflavone, you seem not to have fully answered the questions on its anabolic properties, for example, many sources suggest cycling it for 4weeks on 1 week off, is the serving found in synergy high enough to warrant this?
Also Iv heard ZMA shouldnt be taken with milk and it leads to faster breakdown, is this an issue in this product?
Also in regards to the methoxy content, it has been proven to help burn fat, but you seem to advise against synergy for people not wanting to add bulk. Like I mentioned I am 12 stone and 6'2" and so am not at all overweight, but I still do not want to add fat, surely this shouldnt concern me with taking synergy??

yes i would recommend with synergy to cycle 4 weeks on 1 week off not just for the methoxy but also the creatine and HMB. due to the fact that it is creatine monohydrate your body has been shown to adjust to heightened levels of creatine and you will not have the same effects after continuous use. as for the milk, dont take synergy with milk. milk is not digested very easily and so will hinder the absorbtion of the protein. you wont add fat if you are eating well and training hard.

If you reduce the serving size you reduce its affects
However it all depends on your size too.
Use maybe a scoop and a half, only you knows your body and therefore can make the decision on how to take the product if reducing its recommended serving size

I have got this product, if i take this before and after training. and do cardio, and also eat 6 meals a day with high protein and calories(not to high in calories) also doing weights etc. would i keep the 4 pack i currently have now, if not gain a 6 pack and still gain lean muscle? or would this make me loose my 4 pack?

I've been using Synergy as a meal replacement on training days in an effort to lose fat and add some muscle - principally because this product seems quite similar to Promax diet but is MUCH better VFM even with the savings that you guys offer on Maximuscle products ... do you think that this should work or can you recommend an alternative meal replacement?

Hi There, Call me a thick 'o' but i was wondering how long a tub will last using the required 2 servings a day. I noticed that Sam had already given this answer but i feel she may have made a mistake. Hi, I'm 42 years of age, 6' tall and weigh 14 stone 6 pounds and have recently started weight training again to lose after some 20 years off. I started training to tone up the midsection and to rebuild my muscles, which seem to have slipped from my chest to my stomach!

Hi,I train 5 times/week Mon-Fri at 6.00-7.30. I currently use Promax ext 1/2 hr pre training with H2O, immediately post training with H2O and before bed with milk. I want to try other products so can you tell me how to use synergy in my routine to get the best results and if I should stack with other supplements. My goal is lean muscle (lots of it).

Have read these question and answers. There is a conflict of information being supplied.I person stage you shouldn't take iso 7 with milk as it hinder protein absorb, another person say's you can. Then again one say's a tub should last a month if taking 2 serving a day another say's 15 days. At the moment I take Iso 7 with milk twice a day, is this OK or is it best with water. I also on training days add a raw egg into the drink prior to training. I have only been using this for nearly 3 weeks but it since to being working.

It is impossible to tell at what rate you will add weight or exactly how much. There a so many variables in adding mass, from diet to sleeping patterns. This is an all in one mass gainer, so i would expect you to put weight on wether it be 3lbs or 3 stone.

Hi, My question is about PHD Diet Whey and PHD Synergy. Which one is best to achieve my goals. I am 43, been in training for 6 months. You can take this product when trying to loose bodyfat around the stomach area. Limit it to 2 servings daily, one am and one post workout. Make sure you are doing lots of cardio as this will burn the fat.

Hi, I'm currently on a tight budget and cannot afford £60 a month. So I was thinking of using a 909lb Reflex instant whey and a 2kg Synergy stack. It works out at around £48 which I can afford. Protein will not turn into fat so you can get that idea out of your head, the excess calories can turn into fat. You want to be training 3-4 nights a week for no longer than an hour. You need to be taking it on days off gym also to help with growth and repair. You want to be working the hardest you can to build muscle, training to failure.

Hi.... Pretty new to the gym.I am 34 5'8". I have been taking whey protein twice a day and eating a high protein low carb diet. I have some fat around the middle and would love to lose this. I am between this and the pharma gain supplement, I do kickboxing and jujitsu 3 times a week with circuit training involved, my diet is very poor, I did speak to someone at phd today and said the phd gain is good to use to add lean muscle, I then saw the all in one phd and wanted an oppinion if that was a better option in gaining lean muscle mass.

Use PhD Nutrition’s Lean Degree for up to 2 servings daily (1 serving equals 2 capsules). When beginning the product, start with 1 serving daily, ideally used mid-morning or 30 minutes prior to exercise. When using 2 servings daily, use 1 serving upon waking and 1 serving 30 minutes prior to exercise. Do not exceed 3 servings daily. Do not use after 5pm.
In regards to the Synergy, that is best taken before and after working out! You can take it at other times also, however it is designed for pre/ post workout to supply the body with the nutrients it needs to workout efficiently and then to replenish the body following intense exercise.

Yes synergy used in conjunction with Pharma gain (for your metabolism) would be great. Pharma gain has been reformulated to have slow releasing carbs like oats and barley so taking this will not make you add bodyfat. Use synergy for 4 weeks followed by 4 weeks of gain and then re-cycle again.
I would suggest going for another multivit supplement as synergy has got them in there but not to the RDA.

I notice that PhD have increased the amount of creatine per serving to 5mg. So this means if you take two servings a day you'd be getting 10mg per day. With such a high daily dosage, should I still 'load' on creatine prior to using synergy? Or is loading not required?
