Hi Last year I lost 4.5 stone on a strict diet. I have slowly started to put some weight on (about 1 stone) and want to stop it, lose a little and tone up. I have weights and a rowing machine at home and plan to use them 3 times a week. I was looking at Promax diet and thermobol but don't know which to use (either or both). Hello I am looking for some advice on losing weight but building muscle at the same time? On the maximuscle page it states supplementing breakfast and lunch for Promax. Does this mean you only use it then and not before/after workouts etc.. I am looking to lose approx 6-12 lbs and build muscle would promax be the best product for this, or would it be better to use thermobol with it? Any advice is welcomed thanks

hi david, i assume that by buying promax diet you are aiming to lose fat. if so there are far far superior protein powders out there for the job at a fraction of the cost. in the maximuscle you get 20 servings which at 2 a day will last you 10 days. however in reflex instant whey you get 90 servings which would last you 1 and a half months. think about it. maximuscle is a rip off. if you are trying to diet you need as few carbs as possible, promax is however full of sugar. reflex instant whey on the other hand has next to no carbs and top quality protein. if you dont fancy the reflex i would also recommend phd pharma whey, both are better than maximuscle best regards adam

Im fit and not trying to lose weight per se ( another 3/4 punds wouldn't hurt!). hi claire, if i were you i wouldnt worry about things like promax diet. just get a good whey protein that is low in carbs. this will help with the fat loss as they are very low calorie but obviously help with the training as the protein will help with recovery. i recommend phd pharma whey or reflex instant whey. best regards

Hi, I have been taking this for a couple of months along with the diet bars and have found they work ok, but having read some of the other answers it seems that there are better options for loosing fat? I'm female and mainly want to loose a small ammount of fat and tone up. Exercising and using weights approx four times a week, combined with a healthy diet. I'm taking a shake in the morning to fill me up till lunch, then have a bar late afternoon before I work out. Hi, I train in each session 15 mins carfio and 75 weights, I do this at least 3 times a week. I used to use Creatine but due to poor diet my belly began to suffer. I have decided to go for Promax Diet as my breakfast and Lunch replacements (Both of which I skipped anyway =( ) What Id like to be advised on is this, would it be sensible to take the Promax Diet as my breakfast and Lunch replacements, then take Promax Extreme as an after training supplement ?

After reading all the questions and answers here im now confused as to what is best to use for meal replacement/weight loss products. If i want to loose fat but still get good muscle structure (im 14st, fairly strong but with excess fat in the normal areas; aiming for a 1-2st weight reduction) then would it be best to go for a whey based option (the PhD ranges); along side maybe the maximuscle diet bars and regular exercise plus a range of good vitamin supplements? Hi I am going away in 6 weeks and am looking to lose a stone. I am going gym 3 times a week and a friend recommended Proma max diet which I have bought but am yet to use!! A few people I have spoken to have advised me not to take it as it contains so much protein and thinks it will make me bulk up instead of lose weight. Is this true. Also how is best to take this? Hello, I used to go to the gym and train 5 times a week, maintaining my weight at 10.5 stone (a very toned size 10/12)However, I have put on 4 stone as I stopped training and dieting. Hi, I have been reading loads of reviews now on Promax diet and Thermabol and how to take it. Your web page says to use it as a 'meal replacement' (one for breakfast & one for lunch) but if you refer to Maximuscle site & read the directions on the tub itself it says you use it as a mid-morning snack (after your breakfast) & as a mid-afternoon snack (again after your lunch). I want to loose a bit of weight & tone up, so I dont want to put any extra weight on. I am going to the gym 3-4 times a week with a mixture of CV and weight workout.
