No product range would be complete without Creatine Monohydrate.
Since bursting onto the strength-training scene in the 90’s, Creatine Monohydrate has gone onto become the number-one sports supplement of choice for a large majority of athletes seeking strength, muscle and enhanced performance.
PhD Nutrition use the finest-grade Creatine Monohydrate for optimum results.
Whilst there are supplements on the market that exist without scientific foundation or indeed, quality, research-backed material, Creatine Monohydrate is not one of them. Creatine Monohydrate has been studied heavily over the last 10 years and many studies support the findings that athletes have observed. Personally I will never forget the moment I introduced Creatine Monohydrate into my supplement plan during the late 90’s.
Over the years the use of Creatine Monohydrate has migrated into many different sports and physical activities, perhaps with good cause. Athletes from all over the sporting world now use Creatine Monohydrate in an attempt to make them:
1. Faster
2. More explosive
3. Stronger
4. Recover more quickly
Ingredients
Pure pharmaceutical-grade Micronised Creatine Monohydrate

Ask a Question
Do you have to cycle this creatine product? If so what sort of schedule do you need to follow?
HI Johnny
You can use creatine in 4 week cycles.
Hi,im an amatuer boxer and do intense cardio work outs 3 times a week , just wondering if i would be able to take this creatine along with my synergy all in one powder.(im aware that the all in one also contains creatine)thanks people .
Hi Chris
Yes thats fine. You only need 10 grams of creatine per day tho.
Kind regards
Danny
Hello, what do you mix this product with for e.g how much water or do you mix it with ur protien shake
Hi Moein,
You can mix 5g (teaspoon) with water or juice, alternatively you can mix it into your protein. There is a new PhD Nutrition product that does this already called Synergy. It also has other ingredients mixed in for more convenience. This is also on our website.

Hello, I was consiering buying this product and combining it with my protein. I am slightly over 75kg and was wondering how long this product would last me for?
Hi Clayton,
You would need to take 5g (1 teaspoon) with the protein you take before you train. There are roughly 100 servings per tub so it should last you about 2 months.

Hiya
How would you reccommend using this with Synergy and Pharma Whey?
I`m taking 1 serving Synergy per day off training days...wieghts day i use 1 Synergy before and 1 after the session. Am considering using a serving of Pharma Whey in addition to Synergy everyday.
Do that sounds good to you?? Where would the creatine fit in and in what ammounts? I`m about 80kg
Ta
Hi Daz
Yes that is fine.
simply use 5gms of creatine (1tsp) with the synergy serving used after training.
On non training days do not use.
Yours in health
Sam
Hi, is it just one 5g serving per day to begin with? Im sure other products suggest several servings of 5g throughout the day. also if it is just one serving is it best before or after a workout (im around 70kg in case that matters)
thanks
Hi Chris
The besr way to take this is 5 grams before training and 5 grams after training.
Kind regards
Danny
Hi, from what I've read, I need to take 5 g with my PHD protein shake before training and another 5 grams right after I finish my workout. How should I dose it on cardio days? I play footbal twice a week plus do cardio once a week on top of that. Should I take it on empty stomach then?
Hi Kamil
Its 5 grams of creatine before and after your training. Yes still take it on your cardio days. It will help. I would also recommend getting a protein powder.
Kind regards
Danny
Do you cycle this if so how many weeks on and how many weeks off?and if i weigh 80kg should i take 5g before and after training or less?
thank you
hi, you can cycle to allow your body to return to its normal creatine production levels every once in a while. for the first week you will need to take 10 grams a day and then after that 5 grams before ttrainig should be fine. you may want it after training if your bodyweight increases or you want to see greater results. it will not do you any harm. i would recommend finishing one tub then not have any for about 3 weeks, after that you will be fine for another tub.
best regards
adam
Hi i am looking to gain instant muscle mass/weight, via a good training & diet regime. would this product go better with phd pharma gain or phd synegy iso7.
phd pharma gain+ phd creatine or phd synergy iso7 + phd creatine
btw i am 16 would thsi affect me in any ways?
what do you mean by instant mass/weight? as the synergy already contains creatine monohydrate i would recommend taking it with the pharma gain as if you are taking the synergy you would have no real need to supplement more creatine into your diet. and as for your age, your body is still developing and your bodies own natual production of creatine can be affected, so it is probably best to wait a couple of years.
best regards
adam
Hi
I have been using phd body building supplements for along time now. but have never used there creatine because the doses that they say to take are very small amounts compared to all the other creatine supplements ive taken over the years. But i realy want to stick to the same manufacture with all my products. Is phd creatine stronger than all the others or is there another reason why the loading phase and stanard doses are so small
many thanks
the dose is 5 grams, which is the recommended dose on any creatine monohydrate. the loading phase recommends 10 grams a day which is also the same as all other monohydrates. it is a very good quality monohydrate and is very well micronized so you should see just as good results as all other monohydrates you have tried.
best regards
Hi, I have recently brought PHD creatine to improve my muscle mass, I started just before the weekend used the product three times now tho, I’m not training till Monday or Tuesday but I find the product is making me feel dehydrated for most of the day any advise on that. I’m drinking prob around 3-4litres. I do mix 5g with scoop and a half with pharma whey.
Hi Tom
Four litres per day is fine. You only need to take 5 grams of creatine before and after your training.
Hi,
I am currently taking the PHD Phama whey 3 times a day, 1 mid morning and 1 pre training and 1 post training along with Lean Degree tablets. I am finding that I am really tired after about 45 mins at the gym. What product would you reccomend to keep me in the gym longer and my sessions more intense? Thanks.
Hi David
I would recommend going for the phd battery or the phd wire to help with your training.
Kind regards
Danny
Hi, I've read conflicting opinions on how to take Creatine. Phd recomends 10 grams (5 grams x 2) every second day but some people think 5 grams every day is best? What do you think, and why? Many thanks.
Hi Joe
You only need creatine on the day you train. 5 grams before and 5 grams after. Hope this helps.
When should i take phd creatine, can i take it before training and if so how long before ?
Hi Adal
I would recommend taking 5 grams before training and 5 grams after training.
Kind regards
Danny
Do you recommend using synergy ISO or mixing creatine separately with Pharma Whey?
Dear Charlie,
Either Or will work well. I would go with pharma whey and add creatine as it will give better value for money and you can monitor the creatine you are having daily. You want 5g before and 5g straight after training.
Kind Regards
Dave
Hi, should i take phd creatine on non training days? as the supply should be maintained? and how does the creatine help when taken after a workout? thanks, mike.
Hi Mike
I would just take one serving before and another after your workout.
When you say 4-week cycles, does that mean take it for 4 weeks then stop for 4 weeks? why do you have to do that?
Hi Gaz
You can stay on it if you only take 5 grams before and 5 grams after training.
Hi,im wanting put pack on serious muscel mass in the summer for rugby next year. i go to the gym around 3 times a week and was wondering if this is the right product for me or not?? also how do you suggest i take this creatine.
many thanks
creatine does not directly increase muscle mass. i recommend a good weight gainer like CNP promass, applied nutrition critical mass or USN muscle fuel mass. -AC-
Hi guys, what is the dosage for loading phase and when should i take it before or after training?
Hi Ryan
I would take 5 grams before and 5 grams after your training.
Hey I'm currently using PhD Pharma Whey for my workouts and am wondering how creatine could help My main aim is tightening of abs etc and muscle mass I've already lost 3'1/2 stone of fat and Dontknow if creatine will in any way push bady fat back up or not.
thanx
Hi Luke
You dont want to be on creatine if your cutting. You want to be on a hight protein low carb diet.
Hi, i was planning on using creatine over the off season for gym training for football so as to have more power. I was wondering how much i would need per dose?
hi adam. use 5g per day every day for 8 weeks then have a 4 week break. Best regards
I weigh 70kg and have just orderd this creatine from what i have read i need 5g pre & 5g post workout jus wondering if i need to take this on the days i dont train? and how long should i be on this before i take a break and go back on it?
Dear Jonny,
Yes take this on your day off but take at night before bed at 5g per serving. I would have a break for 4 weeks then go back on your creatine again
Kind Regards
Dave
Can i take this 1 hour before training and it still work for me? or does it need to be taken right before you start your workout?
Dear Mariusz,
Yes i would advise you using 5g of creatine 1 hour before and 5g post workout.
Kind Regards
Dave
How much water a day should i be drinking when taking this?
Dear Jonny,
I would advise drinking ateast 3 litres of water a day when using creatine.
Kind Regards
Dave
Can i mix the creatine in with milk and other food like bananas?
Dear Rob,
Yes you can do, however it will leave the products mixed with, with a sour taste.
Dave
Hi - I train twice a day, early morning and evening. Goal is weightloss and fitness. I take phd diet whey and eat sensibly. Would creatine help me and if so what dosage should I take and when. Thank you
Dear Neil,
Creatine is used for strength and endurance so would not help with weight loss, but would help to keep your strength high when dieting for weight loss. I would use 5g before and after your weights session once per day
Dave
Sorry on my earlier question I should have mentioned that I have had weight loss surgery and can't have anything gassy. Is creatine safe for me because I have read that it can bloat you which is a definite no for me
Dear Neil,
It works differently on everyone, some people get a bit of water retention and others dont. Its not going to cause gas.
Dave
Why are the dosages so low? Im 70kg and according to the creatine calculator i should load with 20g of creatine per day then have 5-7.5g a day after that.
Cheers
Dear Josh,
This is becasue that is all that is needed :). If you take more then the required amount then you will end up losing the majority of the extra through your urine when you got to toilet.
Dave
Hi, the phd synergy is ideal because it contains everything in one but i dont want the carbohydrates because im trying to gain lean muscle. So would you recommend buying the pharma whey and then add the micronised creatine separately ?
Hi Ashley
Yes that is a good idea, that way you can tailor it to your needs
Regards Rich
Hi There,
I am currently taking a nitrix oxide product before i train and having a protein shake afterwards. I read that i can mix the creatine with the protein, that's fine. Will i be able to mix it with the nitrix oxide product as well???
Hi Jonathon
Thanks for your question, doing eitheir of those is absolutely fine as most nitric oxide products contain creatine aswell, i would just make check to see how much is already included.
Regards Rich
